Eric Canale - President and CTO
Eric guides business strategy and the development of web-based solutions to business problems. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the field of interactive entertainment to this role. Prior to co-founding Ars Datum, Eric served as the Director of Technology for USA Networks Interactive, a Fortune 500 media conglomerate, where he was responsible for strategic planning of technology, web development, network infrastructure and budgeting.
Eric has been instrumental in creating some of the most successful entertainment sites on the web. In 1995, he built one of the first streaming audio destination sites for Premiere Radio Networks. In 1996, he initiated a strategic investment and partnership with Broadcast.com, where he was promoted to Director of the Los Angeles office. In 1997, he joined the development team which created the first convergent web show, TheVisitor.com, a joint venture between Centropolis Entertainment, Razorfish LA and Fox TV. He went on to become the VP of Technology at Centropolis until June of 2000, when Centropolis Interactive was acquired by USA Networks.
Eric received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.
Tuan Le - VP of Programming
Tuan co-founded Ars Datum and currently heads software development, including database design and application architecture.
Tuan began his career in defense industry, working for Raytheon as a Software Engineer. He served on the programming team of a large military contract focusing on the wireless tracking of troop movement. He and Eric met in 1999, when he joined Centropolis Interactive as their lead programmer. His expertise in object oriented programming and database design played an essential role in the development of online publishing and content management systems, an intranet, and a management workflow system for the company. He too joined USA Networks Interactive in June of 2000, where he created sophisticated personalization and contextual e-commerce systems for the Sci-Fi Channel.
Tuan graduated with a dual major in Mathematics and Computer Science from UCLA.
